I am directed by the Secretary of State for India in Council to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 15th ultimo, replying to the inquiry addressed to you on the 28th May, whether the Chartered Bank of India, Australia, and China desired to enter into a new agreement on the modified terms set forth, for the coinage of British dollars subsequent to the termination of the present contract on the 10th December 1903,

In reply, I am to inform you that your representations on the subject will be forwarded to the Government of India for their consideration and report.
